'haryanavimusic.com' is a non-commercial/non-profit web-site dedicated to promote
haryanavi music for people from Haryana and its neighboring
states like Delhi, Rajasthan and Western parts of Utter Pradesh.
The purpose of this web-site is to make available sampling of music from haryanavi
films and haryanavi folk music on internet.

How do I listen to a song?

category->album->song or by using quick search on 'Song
Title' click on  image
to listen to that song. Clicking on this image
will open haryanavimusic real player in a new and pretty small window and song
will start playing.

I want to request a song

Yes! I accept and welcome any request for songs that falls under umbrella of this web-site.
However, I have certain limitations in fulfilling the requests. I am US based and request
fulfillment is highly dependent on song availability in India and its transportation to US.
Send me the requests and I will try to fulfill it ASAP.

What is this playlist feature
|

As the music collection is growing on the site, I have decided to provide users a feature so that users will be able to create their own music/song playlists.
Now you can create or delete your playlists, add or remove songs to and from a playlist and most importantly this will allow you to select and play the songs that you like most from one place.
But before you can start creating your own playlists, you will need to register as a member on the site which is totally free and will take only a minute of your time.
You will be asked to provide the minimum information that we need to create a member account for you.

How much and what kind of information do I need to provide for creating a member account
|

To create a member account with haryanavimusic.com you will be asked to provide the minimum possible personal information.
You will need to provide only your name and a valid e-mail address other than the userid and password which you will be choosing.
I will not deliberatly give out any of your information to anybody (please refer to the privacy policy posted on this site, comming soon).
Your personal information will only be used by haryanavimusic.com in order to provide you a rich and hassle free experience while serving your needs for haryanavi music.

How do I create a playlist and add songs to it
|

Once you have registered as a member on the site you can start creating playlists. At the time of registration a default playlist is automatically created for you with a name 'My_PLAYLIST 1'. After you have signed-in you will see a link for 'My Playlists' in the top right corner of the screen.
Clicking on this link will take you to 'Manage Playlists' page. On this page you can create a new playlist/delete an existing playlist/rename an existing active playlist using various forms. You can also delete or rename the default playlist created for you at the registration time.
Once you have created a playlist browse to the song that you would like to add to this playlist. (Categories->album->song->song details page). On song details page you will find a selectable list of your existing playlists and a button ( ) to add the song to the selected playlist.
You can add as many number of songs you wish to a playlist.
Also you can remove the song you do not like from a playlist using 'Manage Playlist' page. You can also view the details of a song added to your playlist inorder to make a effective decision.

I have created a playlist and added a few songs to it. Now how do I play the songs

Go to 'Manage Playlists' page by clicking on 'My Playlists' link in the top right corner of the screen.
Select a playlist from the drop down list of your existing playlists and select the one you are interested in. Page will referesh and below the drop down list you will see the name of the playlist
you selected marked as 'Active Playlist' and a tabular display of the all the songs in that playlist. Use the checkbox infront of the song listing to select or deselect a song, select a connection speed (28k/56k) and click on the play button at the top.
Haryanavimusic real player will open up in a new and small window and your selected songs will start playing. If you have not selected any song using the checkbox against it and still click the play button nothing will happen.
So make sure you have selected some songs.
